Gallery One
Laurel Woodcock
Jump Cuts

Jump Cuts is a survey of work by the Toronto artist that investigates the artist’s conceptual explorations into the use and perception of language as a medium. The gallery will also be restaging the artist’s airborne banner presentation wish you were here on Saturday, September 17 above the University of Waterloo campus. A second flight is also planned—exact date and time TBC. The restaging of
wish you were here has been made possible with the support of the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund and is presented in conjunction with CAFKA.11. Survive. Resist.

Gallery Two
Colleen Wolstenholme
Synaesthesiac

Synaesthesiac pairs the Nova Scotia artist’s large plaster pharmaceuticals with a new wall-based collage developed in collaboration with New York artist Gillian McCain. An off-site component featuring bronze casts Xanax and Dilaudid will also be
on display in the lobby of the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy located at 10A Victoria Street South in Kitchener.
Visitor hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. The off-site component is presented in partnership with the 25th Annual Conference of the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts
(SLSA) and CAFKA.11. Survive. Resist.
